Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues, including desktop operating systems, across a range of software applications in a courteous and cooperative manner.
Apply operating system updates and patches in a timely manner in keeping with company procedures and best practices.
Install and configure new IT equipment including end user computers in all locations.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues and maintain hardware and software for desktop computers, printers, telephones and other network peripherals in an efficient manner.
Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures for desktop computer hardware and software including asset inventory and documenting system backups.
Take ownership of issues and implement appropriate fixes to restore service as soon as possible while escalating incidents and/or working with senior staff when necessary.
Maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in the organization.
Perform telephone support to driver associates in the use of required technology related tools.
Assist with server and network administration.
Work with and assist other IT staff members to provide effective customer service and support.
Complete assignments efficiently and accurately.
Assist with testing and implementation of technology solutions, including upgrades and new technologies.
Actively research and stay abreast of technology changes and trends.
Review processes and provide recommendations for more efficient use of available technologies.

Education and Experience
AAS in Information Technology or related field (may substitute 2 years computer experience)
Minimum of one year business experience working with computer systems in an office environment
Skills and Personal Characteristics
Desktop/Laptop computer hardware configuration and break-fix
Proficient with computer software including Microsoft Office applications
Initiative to complete technology related tasks efficiently and independently

Physical Requirements
Ability to routinely lift computer equipment up to 50 pounds
Ability to assist in lifting or maneuvering computer equipment weighing 51-100 lbs. on occasion
