Main Job Responsibilities
  • Bullet PointDiagnose and resolve software and hardware issues, including desktop operating systems, across a range of software applications in a courteous and cooperative manner.
  • Bullet PointApply operating system updates and patches in a timely manner in keeping with company procedures and best practices.
  • Bullet PointTroubleshoot and resolve desktop computer networking and active directory user account related issues.
  • Bullet PointInstall and configure new IT equipment including end user computers in all locations.
  • Bullet PointMaintain inventory of IT related assets.
  • Bullet PointResolve issues and maintain hardware and software for printers, scanners, telephones and other network peripherals in an efficient manner.
  • Bullet PointCreate and maintain technical documentation and procedures for desktop computer hardware and software.
  • Bullet PointManage and document system backup operations.
  • Bullet PointMaintain excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in the organization.
  • Bullet PointPerform telephone support to driver associates in the use of required technology related tools.
  • Bullet PointAssist with server and network administration.
  • Bullet PointWork with and assist other IT staff members to provide effective customer service and support.
  • Bullet PointTake ownership of issues implementing appropriate fixes to restore service as soon as possible while escalating incidents to other staff when necessary.

  • Bullet PointAssist with testing and implementation of technology solutions, including upgrades and new technologies.
  • Bullet PointActively research and stay abreast of technology changes and trends.

Education and Experience
  • Bullet PointAAS in Information Technology or related field (may substitute 2 years computer experience)
  • Bullet PointMinimum of one year business experience working with computer systems in an office environment

  • Bullet PointDesktop/Laptop computer hardware configuration and break-fix
  • Bullet PointProficient with computer software including Microsoft Office applications
  • Bullet PointResponsible and reliable

Physical Requirements
  • Bullet PointAbility to routinely lift computer equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Bullet PointAbility to assist in lifting or maneuvering computer equipment weighing 51-100 lbs. on occasion
