Conduct inventory of parts room quarterly, oversee inventory levels daily
Watch all locations inventory levels and as Equipment age out work to return unused parts
Issue PO#’s for all Part orders, and stock inventory
Monitor warranty parts
Negotiate prices/services with vendors then have them approved by Director of Maintenance or Regional Maintenance Manager
Organize and maintain parts room
Be responsible for the Freightliner Direct Warranty Program
Run reports/create reports for Management so they can look for trends
Stay current on all new programing for the equipment
Help on the shop floor and with Drivers when needed
Listen to Roger Dawson’s “The Power of Negotiating” tapes if not already familiar with
Work 8 hours per day 5 days per week with occasional overtime
High school diploma
College degree preferred, but not required
3 years truck maintenance experience
