Barr-Nunn Celebrates 27 years on the road

Barr-Nunn Transportation, Inc. is pleased to announce it is celebrating 27 years in the business as a truckload carrier committed to excellence.
In 1982 Bob Sturgeon started Sturgeon Truck Lines with 10 trucks and later bought Barr-Nunn Transportation and merged the two companies. Today, Barr-Nunn has grown to a fleet of over 500 trucks and 1600 trailers. With terminals in Charlotte, North Carolina, Manchester, Pennsylvania and headquarters in Granger, Iowa, Barr-Nunn services the Midwest, Southeast and Northeast regions of the country.
For the past 27 years the hallmark of Barr-Nunn’s success has been its dedication to safety and customer service while continuing to value and respect all of their employees and contractors.
