Driver Qualifications
- You must be at least 23 years old
- You should have 1 year of verifiable OTR tractor-trailer experience within the last 36 months with 6 months being current experience.
- No DWIs in the last 7 years. No more than 1 ever.
- No license suspensions in the last 4 years for a moving violation
- No more than 1 preventable parking lot incident/accident in the last 18 months
- No more than 3 moving violations in the last 4 years, with no more than 2 in the last 12 months
- No felony convictions in the last 7 years. No violent or drug felony ever. No violent misdemeanor convictions ever
- Current CDL in your home state
- Pass a pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen
- No DOT Reportable or on-road accidents in the last 4 years. No accidents where a fatality occurred ever
- No Reckless, Improper turn, Improper/Erratic lane change, Failure to yield right of way or Failure to keep in proper lane citations in the last 4 years
- No Driving too fast for conditions,15+ mph speeding, Following too close or Careless driving in the past 3 years
- No more then 6 jobs in the past 36 months
- No more then 1 gap in employment greater than 90 days in the past 18 months
- No Driver OOS or False /No Log Book Violations in past 3 years
- No Drug Test Refusal or Failure Ever
Equipment Qualifications
- Maximum 5th wheel height of 49 inches
- Maximum weight of 20,500 pounds
- The tractor must be a maximum of 8 years old or newer at sign on
- The tractor must be air ride
- Tractor must pass Barr-Nunn's inspection
