| Industry Leading 2¢/mile 401(k) Program |
When it comes to helping our company drivers prepare for retirement, Barr-Nunn is miles ahead of our competition. For each mile a Barr-Nunn solo driver is dispatched on a load, Barr-Nunn will contribute $0.020 per mile to his or her 401(k) retirement account (team drivers will receive $0.020 on split miles, which is $0.010 on total miles). The contribution* is made annually in March of each year**, for all dispatched miles ran the previous calendar year.
Company drivers are NOT required to contribute anything to their 401(k) plan in order to receive the contribution from Barr-Nunn.
Example
If you are dispatched on 120,000 miles between 01/01/2013 and 12/31/2013, then $2,400 will be contributed to your 401(k) plan in March of 2014**.
